The Friends of the Reading Public Library is a separate, non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to enhancing library services in the town of Reading. Each year we raise $30,000 to $40,000 to deliver programs not otherwise funded by the town.

Our mission is to:

  • provide enriching programming to support community interest;

  • supplement library funding received from the town;

  • support our talented library staff.

We meet at 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of the month, September through June.
